Registration
You must register if you would like to make portfolios of images. It is not necessary to register if you wish only to search the database or view public portfolios. To register, you will choose a User ID and a Password that is required each time you Log In to create, view or edit one of your portfolios (see below). You will be asked for additional information to establish Your Profile. This information will help us to improve future versions of the Art Humanities database.

Your Profile

This is the information you supplied when you registered. You may update this information at any time by logging in to the Profile screen.

SEARCH

The Art Humanities database contains images of every work of art and architecture that you will discuss in class. The selection of images shown in class will depend on your instructor. The Search function is designed to help you locate images using a variety of search criteria correlated with the Art Humanities syllabus.

Your Portfolios

Registered users have the option to create individual portfolios of images. A Portfolio consists of images and identifying labels and may also include notes added by the user. Your Portfolios are private. They are accessible only with your User ID and Password. You may create or delete portfolios as well as add, edit, or delete images in individual portfolios at any time.

Public Portfolios
Public Portfolios are accessible to everyone visiting the database. At the time a new portfolio is created, the registered user chooses to designate the portfolio as Private or Public. All Public Portfolios appear on the Public Portfolio Menu identified by the name of the creator and the title of the portfolio. A Public Portfolio is available for viewing only and can be edited or deleted only by the registered user who created it.
